Raedan Institute is a unique charity as its main aim is to serve the community by helping underachieving pupils fulfil their potential. Its Objective is to develop a pioneering Education centre and thereafter establish a fulltime Secondary school.
They have extensively researched all possibilities and avenues on how to achieve success at the highest level. Looking at viability, Educational guidelines, business angels and investors, target populations, models of Other Centres around the country, models of education, Educational grades for Ethnic Minority pupils in East Lancashire below the national average and unemployment statistics highlighted the fact that there is a huge increase of ethnic minority pupils underachieving in Lancashire. Currently we are at the fundraising stage and hope to raise £2 million over the next few years. RI has also taken approximately 400 children and adults as part of the school trip over the last 2 years and due to the large influx of people we have deemed it necessary to acquire our own licenses.
RI Education Centre & School - RI’s high expectations and standards emphasize our desire to become a centre for Educational Excellence. We have consistently shown having dedicated and professional teachers, excellent teaching methods and correct guidance and help, pupils can achieve outstanding results. Unfortunately our lack of space and limited resources prevents us from helping the growing number of learners on our waiting list. We believe that there is a real need to educate our children in a fully Religious environment. Therefore, in addition to our Educational Centre we hope to establish a Secondary School in Blackburn in September 2008. The “State of the Art” School will provide quality education whilst maintaining RI’s high standards and expectations.
